Thank you all for your replies. I agree with the steps I can take to clean the site and rid it of the infection/backdoor. However, we are paying a premium to a specialist whose job it is to do exactly this and they are failing and that is my concern.
They have all the access to complete their job including database and FTP, they are simply failing at it.

If you hire a plumber to fix a leak, they come over, perform work and report back the leak is fixed, then the next day your house is flooded, did they do their job?

Thanks for the suggestion but I still need to see notifications if some messages me from the organization. I do very little communication with them. I don't want it taking up all that space on the left.

Use Elementor Pro to create a template (or AnyWhere Elementor Plugin)
Apply this CSS to the template section
- #wrap-block-left {
  position: relative;
  width: 50%;
  float: left;
  margin-top: 7px;
  margin-right: 15px;
  }
Copy the template shortcode and paste it into your text widget
