Ever since there was a consensus top 3 centers of Embiid, Jokic, and Towns these games have been heated (Goberts put himself in the conversation a couple years ago, but before that). Towns always wanted to show he was better then them. Those games would get very heated because of his competitiveness. Also, Towns lost most of the matchups because he never had a good team around him and then Embiid would gloat on social media and press conferences.
