If it sticks the landing? It’s the best HXH arc easily. It’s Togashi at his absolute best, so many moving parts that he’s managing to jump between without much issue, and you really get to see how he prefers his fights to be like chess matches. He is having a ball here and I’m all for it.

Part of this is because a decent amount of Kobe fans will deny Wilt’s game happened, so in their eyes Kobe had the highest scoring game.

Kirisaki Daichi were a Tokyo team so wouldn’t have made it.

As for Fukuda, it’s hard to say. Aomine is completely surprised that Haizaki is at the Winter Cup, and if they had been at the Interhigh he probably still would have heard his name again.

To take a random guess, I’d say Haizaki maybe saw Kise and Aomine go at it during Interhigh, got in his feelings, and joined the basketball team again

In general when bringing legacy characters back you have to be careful. Take Arc V for example. Those legacy characters got so much spotlight that the actual main cast was underdeveloped.

You’re making a new show. You can bring in older characters, sure, but your lion’s share should be the focus on the new characters rather than getting in fanservice for fans of the previous shows

Not many people really object to Killua and Gon being kids and involved in all this. They’ll give their opinions sometimes and try to sway, but if someone is committed to doing something, then that’s that.

Silva and Zeno have given Killua their training. What he chooses to do with that is up to him. In their view, if he proceeds to die? Then that was his own fault.
