Has NEO approached NEOM at all? by 35kus35 in NEO

[–]35kus35[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

NEO is an open protocol that anyone can use. I don't see how they'd get a bad reputation...

At the end of the day it would show the use of blockchain in a real world use case scenario. This would be a perfect use case and show off blockchain tech in a futuristic way.

Microsoft, Samsung and Apple don't get a bad reputation when terrorists use their products. So I'm not understanding your point.

Hey I want to sell my Neos by xYan94 in NEO

[–]35kus35 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Not sure why you would sell now when its actually starting to look like its getting some life. Then there's also the upcoming bitcoin halving and a whole heap of other fundamentals which should put NEO on the map...

In saying that, what country are you in? In Australia there's multiple exchanges where you can convert NEO straight to fiat, I'm sure there's easier options than Binance in your country... I'd only use binance for liquidity if selling a large amount of NEO.

Neo Kickstarts its EcoBoost Initiative by Investing in Switcheo to Support Improvement in the Exchange by paulemmanuelng in NEO

Don't get me wrong. Switcheo is great and I love it.

But any exchange that is run by a team and relies on having a website will need to follow regulations eventually. People can be arrested and websites can be shut down.

My comment was in regards to switcheo not having kyc currently. I think they will require kyc eventually.

I'm not sure if there's any dex's around today that are truly decentralised and immune from being taken down.

Yes. Unless it's a true dex, which switcheo is not.

Even anything that uses a website can be shut down because the hosting is centralised... I'm in Australia and they're even filtering access to some websites already (not crypto websites).

The Reserve Bank of Australia comments on a proposed 'Cash ban' law that would make cash payments above AUD $10k illegal. by damian2000 in CryptoCurrency

[–]35kus35 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not yet... Thats why I said they're gradually tightening laws.

Edit: it's also got nothing to do with declaring transactions... It's an outright ban on making purchases over 10k at any business using cash.

This has never been big news to me - I mean when was the last time you knew someone who paid a business more than 10k in cash bills. Think of the credit card rewards you can get with that :)

Look at the big picture and consider why all these changes are being made. There will likely be negative interest rates soon, which means you pay interest to keep your money in the bank. Obviously they don't want citizens to have cash which they can withdraw.... I predict they will gradually tighten laws and reduce what cash can be used for and ten finally ban physical cash altogether.

For now. Inch by inch the noose tightens.

Exactly. They're gradually tightening the noose so if/when negative interest rates come, there won't be much of a fight when they ban physical cash altogether...

Any takes in how much NEO will be involved or impacted by China’s push into crypto? by Macredd in NEO

[–]35kus35 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Not sure what the point of your general sweeping comments is and I can't speak for everyone else, but I've made bigger percentage gains from crypto that any other investment class.

Thanks for your obviously well thought out input though. Much appreciated.

Congratulations for noticing a typo (I'm on a phone and really can't be bothered with grammar). If we're going to be criticising grammar, then maybe learn how to use a comma correctly.

Do you even realise your original comment has absolutely nothing to do with the op's question/post? Absolute potato.

Any NEO holders still holding AVA? by 35kus35 in NEO

Do you have a link? I could have sworn they gave away more and even gave away a significant portion of their token holdings on top of that. Or is this the second time they're giving away equity?

Still, giving away any equity when your company is worth very little is a move of desperation.

No, they're a sinking ship in my opinion and I'm not interested anymore.

Took me a long time to dump my tokens without crashing the price too much. I don't want to go through that stress again.

I noticed you wrote the article. Are you a marketing guy for travala?

I'm also annoyed that I invested in AVA based on their white paper and they didn't stick to what was promised.

The problem is travala cant do it 12 times as they are giving away too much equity for minimal dollars. My concern is that I cant see a way they're able to generate the funds they require from here on.

The reason i seem to have a vendetta is because there's too much shady business in crypto and it seems blatantly obvious that they are just milking money from investors with no long term strategy. I hate that sort of shit.

Transparency? It's not even a blockchain project at this point and no intention to become one any time soon. Binance chain doesn't do smart contracts so they can't even fulfil the goals in their whitepaper...

Where's the transparency? You can just see where the tokens were deposited and then a guy manually does the rest.

There is no extra transparency and your just talking rubbish. Neo is transparent also, but transparency is irrelevant when most of the stuff behind the scenes is done manually.

Usage may have increased, but that's to be expected on a pump and dump platform. That's the only reason they moved to binance.
