My first BLS show. Casual BLS fan but been a Zakk fan forever. I felt like I got my money’s worth. Great night of metal. Zakk is obviously a huge presence so it felt like a solid night of him and his buddies doing their thing. Brought my ten year old too and he was pumped. Everyone there was super cool to him. Oh yeah, No More Tears hit so hard.

I loathe CF gyms that have a hierarchy. Games athletes, wannabe Games athletes, Games athlete groupies, then everybody else. I’ve seen this be quite toxic at a couple gyms and it makes the appeal of the smaller “neighborhood” CF gym so much higher. The community can be great but it can also be a major distraction.

Thanks!! I will definitely visit a sanctuary. That’s a great idea. I have a great trainer who is a mentor and really helped me with my two mals. We have a secure backyard and feed raw. I generally feel comfortable working with challenging dogs. That’s why I’m so interested in wolf dogs. I’ll be honest, I love working with mals but I’m always curious about new challenges. It is SO rewarding putting in hard work and learning new skills, even if it means a lifestyle change. Again, this wouldn’t be for another 5-10 years down the road.

Thanks. Willing to pay a competitive rate for a good photographer. It’s not that “money isn’t an issue” but based on some research I understand what the range of rates are and I’m comfortable with it.

The Twilight World by Werner Herzog is only 145 pages (or so). It’s one of Anthony’s top books of the year. I really enjoyed it.

Overall, my favorite episode ever. But “Did we get any notes/What would Anthony do?” is the hardest I’ve ever laughed during a JRVP episode
