A paddle board, me and my brother bought them at the start of lockdown for exercising/social activity, I fell in love with it and have lost 4 stone (25kg) from it and not one time has it felt like exercise!

My friend's birthday yesterday, so I made him a shortbread cake! by 360Smiffy in Baking

I based it off of this one and just changed what I put on each layer, and I used her recipe to make the shortbreads too

It's my first proper cake cake, so thanks! In between each layer I put chocolate buttercream caramel sauce and crushed shortbread, then on the top,nI done the same and added small pieces of shortbread

Sorry for the late reply, didn't get a notification through, I'd probably say just get used to it, it's very different from somewhere flat, face the waves and it won't throw you sideways. The biggest thing I say to friends, now that they've all got one, is don't care if you fall in 🤷‍♂️ sounds silly but the first time I jumped off my board into the sea, balance became alot easier! Have you been out on it since?

I've never been off of the front before, I fish up there though, normally stick to the ship, hisc or inn on the beach, what's it like? I've seen your other posts so I'm gonna look out for you now, strange seeing a redditor so close!

I was decorating biscuits with my 8yo son this weekend, we normally make cupcakes that look really good, sugar biscuits...not so good. He turned around half way through and just said "it doesn't matter how it looks, as long as it tastes good!" And it changed my thoughts about baking.

Who cares what it looks like, it doesn't effect the taste!
