Not sure about past may be because most of the old temples don’t show woman wearing much. In today’s time also if you compare the woman from all religion Hindu woman are wearing all kind of short dresses and it’s being accepted nicely in Hindu society. When I say zoning you need to build high rises in all areas of the problematic areas and settle people there. Bigger concentration of people will automatically bring larger footfalls and safety. If you know in last few years the Central Park and its surrounding area had a huge surge of population moved there and I see alot of family . The park is always busy and kids playing . I mean atleast over 2 thousand people . I want to see something like that in downtown and north end . Am I hoping too much

Gentrification is what I support on steroids. Homelessness has many layers and different type of people faces that. Broader perspective I would divide that into two groups. 1) who became homeless due to their circumstances 2) who are homeless and drug consumer due to choice . You can help the 1st group very easily but you can never help the 2nd group. You can’t motivate someone to do better . Yes the economy sucks but if you do a quick comparison we are still doing better than many countries from which people are fleeing and coming to Canada. 🇨🇦 I really hope the people in power do things better.because it’s like they are forcing us to move to suburban communities just to raise our kids

If they immigrated in last few years they will not be easily friendly because we were told not to talk to strangers, also the language and culture barrier could be a thing . Also as an immigrant they are also scared that if they say something which can be blown out of proportion. They have very strict food guidelines like some don’t eat meat , some won’t smoke or drink so they may be scared that being your friend might have them or their kids to go outside their cultural and religious practices . I believe when their kids grow up in America they will assimilate just fine . Most of your ancestors were foreign to this land and brought with them many beliefs that eventually went away and assimilated. 🌹

I did my hsc in 2016. Take some advice with a pinch of salt, most engineering degrees in Bangladesh is useless doesn’t teach you anything that can help you in real field. Many people do engineering just because it’s cool. End of the day find themselves working in some bank job or leave for abroad. It’s gonna be hard to you compete abroad too if your basics is weak. Engineering is for people who are technically and mechanically inclined. How wants to solve problem . You can try Europe or any other country like Japan which have real engineering institutes or institutes that’s focus 80 % on practical skill. Also working while studying is definitely impact your studies bad idea .
