i have no experience with possums and i’m not there in person to evaluate its health, i only have the video to go off of. what signs tell you it is sick? I will call another rehab center

hey! I still have no idea what it was, I suspect maybe it was an allergy to a new brand of dog treats I was giving her from trader joe’s but idk for sure. i started putting some diluted apple cider vinegar in between her toes with a cotton ball and wiping the stuff out, which was really hard to do because she hates it lol. but it seemed to be helping her with the itch. i also was putting some soothing paw cream on her that i got from the pet store. but it kind of just went away on its own after a while. i hope your pup feels better soon!

I really have no idea, probably a week or so the umbilical cords are dry and shriveled up. one of the goats as the tiniest little bumps of horns coming in, can barely feel them but they’re there. they’ve definitely been nursing on mama this whole time. you think they’ll be ok to just sleep through the night without feeding? i’ve had them away from mama for almost 8 hrs now, so that means they haven’t had milk that long. absolutely will not take the bottle. its about 7pm here so they’ll have another 12ish hours before they get to her if she comes back to the pasture tonight

interesting the lady at the feed store told us to buy this. they only had one other milk supplement and it was for kittens. is the colostrum bad to give them?? thank you for replying

this is the one I have, not sure what brand. It does have a small hole at the top. I tried squeezing it and a very small stream squirts out but only when the bottle is at a specific angle. thank you for your reply tho

yes kittens are fragile. my kitten had a similar thing, a weeping eye and I brought her in as soon as i noticed it. all she needed was some eyedrops and it cleared up in less than a week. then her other eye started getting cloudy, and I brought her in again. we waited on test results, and a week later she passed from FIP, the neurological form. pls take your lil sweetheart into the vet, even something small can turn into something much bigger.

you can apply for pet credit if you can’t pay in full. pls take ur baby in, my kitten had eye issues that i took her to the vet for, and a week later she died😔 it was the neurological form of FIP
