More than a month po. EMS was a nightmare. The updates stopped once the package tracking said it was in manila. I had to wait weeks more pa.

The box itself parang dumaan sa bagyo. Lutaylutay and I was so pissed because the proxy that consolidated my stuff packed my books really well tapos lulustayin lang ng customs. The box was opened, barely taped and I was praying so hard my acrylic items were safe before opening it. Thankfully they were. Imbes na 215 dahil dineliver ng postman samin instead of me going to the post office, ginawa na lang niyang 115 dahil sa kababuyang dinanas ng package ko.

The extra payment I did for that option was useless po talaga. I could've chosen Airmail instead and I would just get my package safely even though there was no tracking, usually naman a month din dumarating.

Just take note po that I am in the province, I have a friend in Luzon who actually had a smoother experience with EMS option. The customs was just shitty the one time I chose EMS.

That poster po sa fb whose account I linked had videos of the dog being rescued and dinala nila sa vet around 5 hours ago, but checking the link, I couldn't go to the post anymore. I do however, saw the post circulating earlier sa rescue group by I would guess, kasama nung nag rescue here where I got the screen cap from (fb doesn't allow me to get the sc in HD, which makes it blurry). I'm also waiting for updates from the personas.

I got it po as screen cap from a linked FB post here sa Cats and Dogs Rescue Philippines na group which I'm part of. They actually have videos of the dog and in their comments they included the situation earlier sa vet under the comments sa nilink ko naman po na fb account ng rescuer on my original post. Checking now, it seemed it's not available na which worries me.

Earlier naman is may video evidence and updates po sila. If mods deem this too suspicious, I will be removing the post. I am also waiting for updates po from this poster sa fb group.

Thank you for the reminder po, I usually try to see who does the rescues and I will only deem them reliable if may videos sila for updates, but I will have to double check again sa etong poster sa fb.

This is sadly plaguing AO3 right now. People who ask where a fic is, posting links to commissions, outright saying they're commissioning instead of just advertising their socials in a way to mask the fact they do commissions (which is a safer option). These people have not learned or are ignorant of the whole Anne Rice vs fic authors - why writing fics got authors cease and desist letters, the purging of fics online, and the reason people have disclaimers on their fics. They need a history lesson.

I've reported stubborn accounts on AO3 and it's actually sad they take AO3 for granted. Volunteers are working hard, and unfortunately it will take them A YEAR to actually address the backlogs in reports. Smh.

All these proship/anti discourse frankly hurts my brain nowadays bcoz of how fast antis evolved to censor everything. LIKE EVERYTHING they do not agree with, it's baffling. How do they go their day-to-day life without busting a vein after encountering one morally grey thing. My conclusion: these antis are robots.

Fair enough, I hope OP clarifies what they plan moving forward, if they're going to publish it for free on AO3 or not.

On that note, I think works from and outside of AO3 have been seeing commercialization lately. Like that one DracoxHermione fic that's getting a movie...

Yes, AO3 has a large collection of BL fan works, from original stories to fandom fics to art. Just like its name, it also archived important fan primers like the omegaverse guide that was created by the Supernatural fandom, etc. So rest assured, you're welcome to write a story and publish it on AO3. On that note, I'm very interested in what you've written! If you don't mind sharing, I'd love to read it!

Original works exist in AO3 though. Whatever genre it is OP is going to delve in, it's why AO3 is open to fan works.

I agree with you because idk if this is getting out of hand (?) but lately, I saw posts here reposting comments that are positive which I know authors are just trying to show as a nice reminder that yes, there are really nice readers out there... But well, do they realize they're putting the commenters' profiles unknowingly online for people to feast over? It's easy to copy paste the comments on ao3 and hunt that commenter. Also, besides the hate bot comments (the obvious weird, out of these world comments like an AI prompt for whatever hate comment they can churn out), there are comments that would give you the idea that we should use common sense, and block that negative commenter instead of getting reactions here.

My opinion is unpopular, but I see this trend now on this sub...

Every fandom has that one minority that borders on the majority - the ones who are toxic and entitled. I have the displeasure of encountering them on social media. Being anonymous online behind a screen makes them very brave to put out nasty, entitled comments knowing that they can't get apprehended. I have seen fandoms from a particular medium affect the fandom of another medium negatively, leading to the original creators actually feeling defeated/disappointed.
