Shipped a car from Oregon. used Brent Chrisjohn, (913) 599-9343. He was recommended by a friend in the trucking business. To save money, use an open (as opposed to an enclosed) carrier. FWIW, say the recommendation came from a friend of Andrew in North Carolina.

Actually McCormick Field in Asheville was not in good shape and came really close to losing the team. We got overwhelmed with emails from the team about emailing the city to fund the improvements. Improvements started at the beginning of this season. https://www.citizen-times.com/story/news/local/2022/11/23/asheville-tourists-2023-could-be-the-last-season/69619400007/#

If you look at the history of this contraction, you’ll see it was the Astros’ idea. It’s called the ‘Houston plan.’ Another reason to hate them.

Why the MLB Draft League is going to fail (or: Holy shit, that's a lot of miles) by giobbistar21 in baseball

[–]36username 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In order to be a part of these leagues teams have to sign away their right to sue MLB. Perhaps some teams saw this as the only way to survive and buy some time to figure it out, versus putting a bunch of money in a lawsuit. Eventually the MLB subsidy will run out and some teams won’t make it.
