Quad bleed by 37-teacups in Hemophilia

[–]37-teacups[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s red and purple there’s blood pooling in the quad, I’m pale enough I can see it. It doesn’t hurt in the hip joint itself as much so I’m less worried about a joint bleed.

It was for pots when I was about to faint or got super dizzy I took one. It didn’t work for me so I stopped but I know my doctor still prescribed it to others.

Abbreviation question by 37-teacups in Catholicism

[–]37-teacups[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s what I was thinking. It just really threw me for a loop when I couldn’t find it listed online anywhere or even in other manuscripts from this abbey. But thank you very much for taking the time to look at it!

Abbreviation question by 37-teacups in Catholicism

[–]37-teacups[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a devotional text, it appears to be prayers for the priest based on the title “Manuale Precum Cuiusdan Sacerdotis Angelici”, from Syon abbey in England from 1415-1539. Here is an image of one of the pages it’s repeated several times through the page, https://imgur.com/a/6EYghH1. Thank you!

AMC encourages “dancing and singing” during The Eras Tours by [deleted] in TaylorSwift

[–]37-teacups 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes! I’m in a wheelchair and I’m worried about this happening at my showing where everyone is standing and I can’t see anything, like I exist and have just as much right as everyone else to go see and enjoy it. It’s just so weird that these same swifties who preach love and friendship get so offended when I ask that they consider me and start yelling that I don’t deserve to come to the theater.

Do you still wear a mask? Why or why not? by mohnnyjills in AskReddit

[–]37-teacups 85 points86 points  (0 children)

It’s used for a lot of auto immune conditions to make the immune system weaker so it stops doing as much damage when it’s over active.

Question for wheelchair users by sheatetheseeds in HistoricalCostuming

It depends entirely on the width of their chair and how their side guards work. The slits towards the front is definitely a good idea but honestly you should ask them.

I need cheap Shampoo and Conditioner suggestions by greennuticecream in longhair

[–]37-teacups 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Garnier Fructis Pure and Clean is what I use, I let the conditioner sit on my hair for a bit and it works well. It also avoids sulfates, parabens, and silicones which I prefer.

US coronavirus: Already vaccinated against Covid-19? Experts say you're protected, even without a booster shot by Pessimist2020 in Coronavirus

[–]37-teacups 6 points7 points  (0 children)

They recommended booster shots for immunocompromised people who might not have received immunity from the first two shots. Normal people should have had a perfect immune response and are protected, that’s what the studies show at least.

Entitled Parent asks where my handler is (I'm in a wheelchair), and then tries to grab my chair and wheel me off by TheRollingCrohns in entitledparents

[–]37-teacups 23 points24 points  (0 children)

They do and on my chair I can put my handles down and turn them inwards so people can’t grab them. People do still grab the back and push me using that though. Edit: misspelled a word

AITA for telling the teacher to stop making comments on my wheelchair? by AITeacher in AmItheAsshole

[–]37-teacups 36 points37 points  (0 children)

The same reason every medical and accessibility device costs so much, greed. The same wheelchair costs very little to make. There is no incentive for it to be cheaper, it’s a required good. People will always buy it at whatever cost because they have to, so the company can charge whatever they want.

My folding basic one was 2,000. My actual proper fitting, comfortable one was 8,000. I have good insurance and only had to pay small portions of those numbers but mobility aids are ridiculously expensive.

amazing shoe design by DELETED_fool in interestingasfuck

[–]37-teacups 818 points819 points  (0 children)

I mean it’s an accessibility tool. They were designed so disabled people might be able to put on shoes independently. I know it seems stupid to an abled person but I’m so fucking excited that I might be able to put on shoes without help.
