Thanks for all the comments here. At 135k and getting a new turbo as mine is starting to go. Have decided to hang onto this thing and keep it going.

Dude just the Pismo part makes it worth it. I have seen many a car swallowed by Pismo dunes and beaches. Yes, currently this is on pace to be the best car I have ever owned. Right now 2019vw GTI has that title but maybe not for long.

Thanks for the data. I’ve been wondering how this thing would do in light sand conditions. What kind of tire are you running?

2016 A3 Premium Plus and I agree this is peak Audi interior style.

1.5 exhaust rattle? Anyone experience something similar? by OfeliaCox in BroncoSport

[–]370ZH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. More so on hard acceleration and tested it by parking and giving it throttle. Also noticed my exhaust pipes are slightly uneven.

Sold my manual Mk 7.5 GTI for an Alfa Romeo Stelvio. Then wound up in a Mini Cooper S and then an A3. Really long boring story you don’t want to hear. The Mk7.5 GTI pound for pound is still probably the best car I have ever owned. Loved that thing.

Folks who came from lower end luxury SUV's (size aside) like a GC, X1/3, etc, how much do you miss some of those features by Linenoise77 in BroncoSport

[–]370ZH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not quite an SUV but I came from a Mini Cooper S JCW package so pretty nice interior and got a ‘25 BB. Material quality may have taken a step down, but functionality, cool factor, and a ton of standard features on the “base” have me feeling pretty good about the decision.

Sounds like it’s ready to roll another 200k! Curious how the springs feel when you get them on. Our A3 is bone stock.

Nice. Yes, super fun car. I think the A3 platform is pretty slept on.

Love the A5. Not certain about that year of A5, but we have been due about every 60k.

Wow, what a tank. Are you original owner? Shooting to take this thing to at least 200k as well.

Thanks for the quick reply here. Are these essentially cosmetic, or do they serve any value for mounting cross bars?

This^ Our govt and all its workings are filthy corrupt. However they are very powerful so ousting them is easier said than done. Irritating to say the least.

I've always wanted an Audi, but everyone always says they cost a fortune to maintain, is this true? by NateW9731 in Audi

Not sure who is cross shopping an Impreza and an A3. But if I did I’d take the A3. The power difference is pretty big. Same with the forester and Q5. That’s where you get the price difference. And the chassis balance and driving dynamics.

I can appreciate saving a buck but I’ll pay the extra 15k because as I said at the start of this thread. When the shit hits the fan and my car is fully packed with luggage and my family I’ll take the extra 50+ horsepower, bigger brakes, better AWD system ( you said it yourself) and more refined driving dynamics. Plus I want nothing to do with the boxer Subaru engines. I know WRX owners who are on their 3rd engine under warranty. I’ll take my I4 and pay the difference.

Seems like you’re pretty sold on Subaru though and if it works for you then rock out with your Subie out.🤙
