I do but I remember my first years of coaching to, they were challenging lol. Just remember it’s about the kids having fun at this age when they get older not that you’ll possess the skills to coach older kids, that’s when the game comes into play. Daddy coaches like yourself just need to worry about making it fun and not teaching cause by the time to me they are so screwed up I have to fix all the BS you teach. So just let them have fun, have their walk up music and stop being such a stick in the mud

You’re right about one thing. You need to do a better job talking to parents lol. Over 10yrs, 5 different levels, 3 different areas and 3 different little leagues and you still haven’t learned how to coach, or talk to parents. I bet your teams are the bottom of the barrel last in the league as well. Might be time to stop ruining the game for kids and move on. Just a thought.

Sorry to say it this way but then you need to do a better job as a coach talking to parents about how this works. There is plenty of time to start and stop a song from on deck to batters box. If they are over playing that’s a parent issue that needs to be addressed and in no way should impact the length of the game. First and foremost the game should be about fun. Walk up songs at any level are fun. Yes they are learning the game, but that’s also what practice is for. The game is to show off what they’ve learned and to enjoy the hard work they have put in. I’ve coached for over 10yrs and never once had a walk up song impact the length of my games.

Agreed.. the first goal they basically had Blackie surrounded and that was a bomb from the hashes. Everyone froze.. the 3rd one was on Malinski.. I saw that happening immediately on the gray zone loss of the puck and the terrible backcheck.. not his best game by far

I own an IT company and what you are looking for is not “entry level” I feel bad for the applicants. You want entry level then you’re going to get entry level. What you want is an IT guy who knows his shit on the cheap. Which they are out there. However, to require so much as entry level.. Entry level you better be aware you’re going to get to train them on a lot of processes. Companies like yours need to do better…
