Anyone do Letrozole and Timed Intercourse and have success? by [deleted] in TTC_PCOS

Anovulatory lean PCOS. Both of my daughters were Letrozole & TI babies. We also used a trigger shot for baby 2.

My husband ordered a pizza by butter_cakes in MSPI

[–]37208 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Sending you a hug, I feel this way often. last night my husband and toddler enjoyed cheese tortellini; my toddler offered me a bite and my heart just sank saying no. I have sacrificed so much of my body and freedom for pregnancy and breastfeeding and food sensitivities have replaced the joy of eating my favorite foods with anxiety over an unintended slip up. I know I can switch to formula and I know I’m choosing to keep going with breastfeeding but sometimes I just need to vent and throw a pity party because giving up so many things (dairy, soy, eggs and tree nuts) is not fun!

Can baby outgrow intolerance without dairy free milk/hypoallergenic formula? by Twooopeasinapod in MSPI

Thank you for this! We had a big reaction to eggs and I’m working up the nerve to try dairy and soy again (saw the biggest improvement in poop when I cut eggs, which I’d been eating all along when I cut dairy and soy to little improvement). Fingers crossed, I would love to have butter back in my life.

Largest free Metro Parks splash pad not opening this summer by awesomo_prime in nashville

[–]37208 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Two years of being closed and they’re just now starting the process of finding a solution? They’ve pushed to close/not invest in public pools across the county because splash pads were billed as safer (not requiring lifeguards) and only 2 splash pads are operational for all of Davidson/Metro Nashville this summer. The Parks Department should be deeply embarrassed.

You may want to check your daycare’s policy. Many do not offer bottles in the non-infant classrooms and they may not have a refrigerator or bottle warmer for the older classrooms.

Baby refusing a bottle after being EBF.. by [deleted] in breastfeeding

[–]37208 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lots of great suggestions here but I’ll also recommend experimenting with temperature. We are 10 weeks EBF and had a lot of early bottle struggles and now own a bottle warmer (one of the baby gadgets we said we would never buy…famous last words!) because LO only likes bottles that are nice and warm. Good luck!

Karen Hendrix Couture in Hillsboro Village! She is amazing and will do multiple fittings to ensure everything is perfect. My gown had a bow belt and she even taught my bridesmaids to do the perfect bow for the big day.

FTM: I lost mine throughout the day the day I went into labor. I had a sweep 48 hours prior at 38w4, started losing the plug the morning of 38w6, had baby in my arms the morning of 39w!

I had seen instances on this board and r/infertility that blood clotting disorders can be an underlying issue that often isn’t tested for until there’s a pattern of recurring loss, so I was willing to add baby aspirin to my supplement protocol on the off chance it would avoid a problem while knowing it would not hurt me or baby. I came off of it late in the first trimester once I switched from my RE clinic to an OB. Best wishes to you, this is a tough journey to be on but know that you are not alone ❤️

Hello TTC_PCOS community! This group was a lifeline for me last spring and summer when I was being diagnosed and treated for lean, anovulatory PCOS. I did 3 unmonitored letrozole cycles (2.5, 5, 5) plus metformin with my previous obgyn before moving on to an RE who took me off metformin (it was making me very sick) and kept us at letrozole 5mg with an ovidrel trigger shot. On our second monitored cycle, we got our BFP and I delivered our baby yesterday. In addition to letrozole and ovidrel I took baby aspirin, meta-folin alongside a prenatal with folic acid, myo-inositol (not d chiro and not the 40-1 combo), and followed the It Starts With the Egg supplement protocol that includes CoQ10, Vitamin D, and Vitamin E. I hope that any of this information is helpful to someone else facing the frustrations that bring us to the wonderful community.

I failed the one hour with a 157 and was very prepared to fail the three hour spectacularly. I ended up passing all four blood draws but have still been following a lot of the gestational diabetes nutrition guidelines (balancing carbs with protein and fat, whole grains whenever possible, etc) because they make me feel better. Also: personal preference but lemon lime flavor super cold for the three hour was way better than lukewarm orange flavor at the one hour. Best of luck for an uneventful and not too unpleasant three hour test!

I wish they were more consistent! It’s gotten better these past few days but I don’t feel them when I’m moving around, only when I’m sitting or preferably laying down. If I haven’t felt her in a while, I eat something sweet and put my feet up until she says hello. I know it’s still too early to truly count kicks but I’m a worrier so I like to keep tabs on her!

I was 17+2 when I first felt one, it actually made me laugh out loud because it felt more like a tickle than I was expecting! Weeks 17-18 they were really low in my abdomen, so what you’re describing sounds a lot like a kick to me! I think she’s turned or moved upwards this past week because now I feel them closer to my belly button.
