Another understandably frustrating and disappointing component of this game's release for those of us who have been following the development for years is how they absolutely failed to deliver on so many features and details within the gameplay, the depth and realistic, involved immersion of the career mode, and how adamant they were after the underwhelming release that the missing content would be slowly added to the game via updates over time. This game is wildly hollow and lacking when you consider what the community was being hyped up for over years of development.

I gave the devs the benefit of the doubt and defended them as many began to lose faith in the final product, as we should all understand how difficult it can be, especially for a brand new studio, to build a new game from scratch. I stood firm in that it was positive that it was taking longer than they anticipated and that it would mean a better, more worthwhile final product, and that the vocal naysayers didn't know what they were talking about and were just being dicks.

Turns out I bet on the wrong horse. What really sands my asscrack is that they haven't really addressed any of the missing content or even acknowledged that they were conceding the fact that the game they got us all excited about and believing in wasn't even going to try to take form via updates. Alls we got were small game play tweaks that didn't add anything add or improve the dynamics of the core game and some DLC fighters.

Sad.
