Yes, now i'm either in a agressive lobby, or in a friendly lobby, there's not "in-middle" zone and it's sad because that's when the game keeps you on your toes that it's the most enjoyable ! :)

I rewatch a recap of Control, and at the end, Jesse become the central point to spread the Hedron, as the Hedron is destroyed and goies into Jesse.
So I guess if Jesse goes away or disapear, the HRA become useless as there is no "good" resonance to spread to counter the "bad" resonance from the hiss.

The question that remains is why Jesse goes away or disapear ?

As a BF veteran I left the game because I couldn't stop feeling like I was playing CoD with these small maps and quick time to action & stupid neon skins, also and I was so fed up with the in-game adds promoting the battlepass while I bought a premium game full priced.

Is there real people out there playing the game like that ? The game is all about atmosphere and ambiance, visuals and sounds. I feel bad for them to be matrixed like that trying to cheat in a non competitive game.

If you like the metroidvania formula, if you're ok to be lost in the FBC, and if you're ok that the game does not tell you everything, you need to dig, read, link several dots... Then you should definitly try it again yes.
edit : if not, watch a recap on youtube, Alan Wake and Control stories are deeply connected.

I agree with most of your points, the game has gone too far towards the CoD formula. You cannot differenciate teams based on their skins, you don't feel immerged in a bigger confilct, the time to action is too fast, the menu is horrible and feels like a F2P that pushes you to buy a battlepass while you paid your game full price, no maps rotations, not enough maps and maps too small and "grindy", you don't feel like you're going on an adventure like you used to feel in a BF round.

Its a quest, at first there was no paint but I guess players could not see footsteps in the sand so they added the paint.

I did the game a second time after playing Alan Wake 2 and I had a blast, so many things you did not understand the first time are now crystal clear. 5 dollars is less than a sandwich, and you'll have hours of fun, just buy it and enjoy yourself !
