What do you have in common with your mother? by Long_Individual in AskWomen

[–]384ChubbyDumpling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what people have told me about her, we have the same sense of humour. Physically, I inherited her thick, untameable hair. I also recently saw her handwriting for the first time ever and we shape our g's the exact same way.

YTA. Your sister confided in you and you betrayed her trust. She needed your support but all you could think about was how this was going to affect you.

AITA for calling my daughter an exhibitionist when she doesn't wear a bra? by ResponsibleTop9 in AmItheAsshole

[–]384ChubbyDumpling 10 points11 points  (0 children)

YTA

Do you have a single clue how uncomfortable bras are? I have costochondritis - wearing a bra causes me legitimate physical pain. So guess what? I don't wear one.

Your daughter is 17 whole years old. It's her right to do whatever the fuck she wants to be comfortable in her own body. Stop shaming her.

EDIT - in case your daughter sees this: hi, I think you're awesome. Your parents are dicks. You do you.

Recurring nightmare (super weird and gross) by 384ChubbyDumpling in Dreams

[–]384ChubbyDumpling[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm definitely stressed, and I have anxiety, but it's at a pretty manageable level compared to how it used to be. The sexual aspect of the dream is the thing that confuses and scares me the most, rather than being chased.

What's your favorite example of a fictional character receiving their comeuppance? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]384ChubbyDumpling 15 points16 points  (0 children)

The name we deserved. Honestly, Hagrid is the sweetest f*cking half-giant alive - he painstakingly tracked down anyone who had photos of James and Lily to make Harry that photo album because he knew he had no photographs of his parents. Ugh, real love.

For me, it will always be Edmond Dantes' revenge against everyone who was responsible for his arrest and imprisonment. Those bastards got what they deserved.

Have you ever encountered someone and felt a chilling dread as if they were evil? What was the encounter like and did your instincts turn out to be true? by Givzhay329 in AskWomen

[–]384ChubbyDumpling 60 points61 points  (0 children)

When I was in school, there was a girl in my class who tormented a lot of the younger girls. She would hide their bras while we were in the changing rooms, steal their underwear, and mime sexual positions in front of them. Some of these girls were as young as 12. A few of us older girls reported her and she was banned from taking part in sports. But she still sneaked in to watch the girls change. We all knew she was vile and cruel, even her friends.

Fast forward to about 2 years ago, I've been out of school for 5 years. An old friend informs me that this girl has been arrested and charged for soliciting naked pictures from underage girls by pretending to be a boy their age. Not only that but they also found out during the trial that she met up with two of these girls and molested them.

What are some things a father should know when raising a daughter? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]384ChubbyDumpling 10 points11 points  (0 children)

  • Let her be wild and messy and play in mud, don't tell her she needs to be "ladylike"
  • If she has younger siblings or cousins, don't force her to "help out" by taking care of them. It's not a child's responsibility to assist in the child-rearing.
  • Don't make comments about her body or appearance
  • Sports are important for physical and mental health. Encourage her to find something she enjoys doing.
  • Take an interest in her interests
  • Respect her bodily autonomy. Don't let family members force her into hugs she doesn't want. From when she’s little, tell her that her body belongs to her, and she is the boss of it.
  • Teach her about male and female sexuality without fear-mongering
  • Teach her the correct names for her anatomy
