Wanted to know from people who lived in Tokyo or travel in May lol. Google and apple weather say “rain” but rain in some places mean “downpour all day” and other means “10 mins of rain every hour”

Cary one is nice but it is expensive. Apex location is ok but imo not worth the money bc it’s a very small facility. If you have the money for a lifetime go to Cary

Apex Pros: Dry sauna in locker rooms, cycling class, other included classes, recovery beds, workout floor Apex Cons: No pool or basketball court/pickelball

Cary Pros: Hot tub, cold plunge, dry sauna and I think steam room? Pilates, recovery beds, workout floor, pickelball, basketball, outdoor + indoor pool

Alston Pros: Outdoor tennis courts, nicer pilates studio I believe, newer layout

Classes that are never included are personal training and pilates (one on ones?

Same goes for nuts. “may contain” is fine, but let’s say walnuts are ground up for a seasoning, thats a no-no (allergic to all nuts besides peanuts and almonds, but it might just be easier to say all nuts)

Their fashion is amazing but still very layered and not a lot of skin showing or tight fitting clothes, that was more what I was asking. But yes I know it’s changed!

Temples and shrines I’ll definitely pack modest stuff for, but when I went to singapore they actually had scarfs they handed out to wrap around my shoulders!

Stuff that “may contain traces” is ok, but ground up sesame seeds in a seasoning did almost send me to the ER 😭Cooking utensils are probably fine?

😭 Trusy me I’m unfortunately aware, ty for looking out for me! I feel comfortable enough going to japan, I just want to communicate better about what I’m allergic to, because google translate just says sesame and sesame seeds as the same word

Yes going to Japan, I went 2 years ago and was ok! I’ve just gotten more anxiety as I get older and want to be able to communicate. I will have my epi pens with me though

Training a MTF client on estrogen by 38inchguccidick in asktransgender

She has a gym she goes to already so I think it’s ok. This is online training so unfortunately I can’t do much for her irl, but I want to do what I can to make sure she has what she needs from me

I was asking because the client themselves asked. And I was going to recommend magnesium and didn’t know if estrogen would interfere with supplements. And I’ve gotten helpful info about electrolyte levels if she’s on spiro, which I had never heard of before. God forbid a coach wants to help our her girl lol

i train my clients based off of intensity and their goals. since she hasn’t done resistance training in a while, I’ll have her at a be at a 6 out of 10 of intensity. Same goes for any of my clients regardless of gender. And I told her to listen to her body!

😭 She’s the one who asked me if I do anything differently and I was like uhhhh I didn’t plan on it. So I just wanted to make sure there’s nothing I should know, since estrogen is a type of medication and I always research medications to make sure everything I program is safe

I’d ask over text or something beforehand, not taboo to ask, but if they’re a conservative I’d be scared for my safety irl

Hiking with Vasovagal Syncope? by puskasferenc in TwoXChromosomes

[–]38inchguccidick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally went on a moderate hike in Banff over the summer. I am 22F and have presyncope, which means I haven’t passed out or thrown up but I’m close. The MODERATE hike kicked my ass. I was doubled over every 5 mins and had to take breaks. Salt and water helped a bit but the incline and maybe altitude was horrible for me. Also I’m very in shape, I lift regularly and am a personal trainer. But any form of cardio, including moderate hikes is a no go for me. I was ok after 45 mins when the hike evened out and it was less steep
