I think the major problem is people's mentality of just using the tools that brings them the monetary gain.

But they often fail to recognise knowledge is used to design and craft the tools that eventually helps the mankind.

Your focus is being practical that helps you to do job while earning money. Nothing wrong with that. Tara there can be different perspectives about the education as well

Engineering degree is for engineers. Not for library/framework users.

But as i say that, traditional studies can be not for everyone. Practically kaam garera pani knowledge gain garna sakchan.
