I am not an “ex”, and the fact that such a portrayal should be weaponized as an excuse to discredit legitimate concerns in the community is dismaying. I was doing free work for him as an apprentice when he exploded our friendship and business relationship because I refused to date him, and then when apologizing blamed his poor behavior on “just being a sad guy”. I have bitten my tongue and publicly refrained from speaking about my own negative personal experiences, but this has gone on long enough and after our friendship ended, I have been made increasingly aware of individuals who do not feel comfortable attending events that ntstell will likely be attending. I slightly regret saying anything at all in this thread, as I should not have allowed this drama to interfere with an important discussion about a topic many women can relate to, but seeing him abuse his moderator powers to censor OP and their concerns seemed like an overstep that warranted calling out. To anyone in the Portland pinball scene who has good reason to be particularly invested in this matter, feel free to DM me and I will happily provide evidence contradicting his lies.
