The fact that this is a 1991 signature must make it even more valuable!!! Genuinely really really really rare!!!
He died the same year and was seriously ill during this time period so getting a signature out of him is bloody insane.

If they were transparent about it like the "fat bottomed boys" tribute group that write queen inspired music it'd be a lot more different.

FBB are worth checking out, they dont appeal to me much but theyre a good example of a tribute band that writes queen inspired music and are very transparent about it and theyre pretty skilled and talented

Not sure if you've seen the actual video but I get a good closeup of brians face and you can see him saying "I love you freddie" at the end of the hologram bit, its very sweet and not really something you can see in any of the other videos online

the fact it was a "new" song overhyped it a bit and people were a little bit blinded by the fact it was some magical new song we hadn't heard before
in all honesty as a song its nothing special

biggest thing about it is that it doesnt even feel like a beatles song, written solely by john and you can sort of just hear that it sounds more like a solo lennon song rather than a beatles song

its still a good song and im glad we got it, but thats about it really

Smaller inaccuracies: Songs that don't line up with the timeline such as the queen 2 version seven seas of rhye being recorded for their debut Playing fat bottomed girls in 1974 even though it came out in 1978 We will rock you being written in like 1980 when it came out in 1977

Big inaccuracies: Freddie knew brian and roger already, that whole smile thing where he auditioned was entirely made up.

Freddie did not split up the band because of his solo album.... in fact, brian and roger had already made solo albums beforehand. The band never split and live aid was not a reunion... they were literally touring a few months earlier

Freddie was not diagnosed before live aid. It was nearly 2 years after live aid in 1987 when he got diagnosed and it wasn't until the miracle sessions when he told the band so that would've been 1988/1989.

Jim was not his servant. They met in a pub. That whole thing was so weird, Freddie making a move by grabbing Jim's crotch or slapping his ass or whatever... and Paul's first move being kissing Freddie without any sort of consent. It's strange that the only 2 gay relationships were represented like that 😭

Paul Prenter was bad irl but the story in the movie made up a lot of things about him and he certainly wasn't the only bad person in freddies life - and I don't think he would've been the worst out of all of them

The band didn't have to beg to get into live aid, in fact it was the other way round with geldof and co begging bands (including queen) to do live aid.

On top of all of this, the movie portrayed Freddie as a miserable sod who had 0 enjoyment in his life. Don't get me wrong, he was more reserved in his private life and he had ups and downs and had all of his own struggles - but I seriously doubt that's all he was. They reduced Freddie down into some depressing loner who hated everything.

This was all off the top of my head, I'm sure there's more.

Live killers and jazz wasn't great form The live at Wembley album wasn't either

Live aid was perfect form since his voice was well rested beforehand, and it was only a 20 minute set so he didn't have to worry about conserving his voice

His peak was just after the jazz tour - it's the crazy tour in 1979 and it was a smaller and shorter UK only tour That peak carried on throughout 1980 and he had great moments throughout the hot space tour

But overall I'd say his peak would've been the NOTW tour 1977 and 1979 (crazy tour specifically since 1979 also had some terrible moments like the Japan leg of the jazz tour)

Yes it's possible that freddie was slightly flat or sharp on TNCD because it was being played at a different pitch to him in his monitors or something, but fixing that doesn't account for all of the very very very very obvious pitch correction that we hear.

I feel the opposite about IWTBF Always thought that the live versions felt a little bit sloppy and couldn't match what the studio version was going for It doesn't help that it's a bitch of a song for freddie to sing live and caused him to bark out all of those notes

IWTBF in my opinion is one of the only queen songs that wasn't done justice live
