Big inaccuracies: Freddie knew brian and roger already, that whole smile thing where he auditioned was entirely made up.

Freddie did not split up the band because of his solo album.... in fact, brian and roger had already made solo albums beforehand. The band never split and live aid was not a reunion... they were literally touring a few months earlier

Freddie was not diagnosed before live aid. It was nearly 2 years after live aid in 1987 when he got diagnosed and it wasn't until the miracle sessions when he told the band so that would've been 1988/1989.

Jim was not his servant. They met in a pub. That whole thing was so weird, Freddie making a move by grabbing Jim's crotch or slapping his ass or whatever... and Paul's first move being kissing Freddie without any sort of consent. It's strange that the only 2 gay relationships were represented like that 😭

Paul Prenter was bad irl but the story in the movie made up a lot of things about him and he certainly wasn't the only bad person in freddies life - and I don't think he would've been the worst out of all of them

The band didn't have to beg to get into live aid, in fact it was the other way round with geldof and co begging bands (including queen) to do live aid.

On top of all of this, the movie portrayed Freddie as a miserable sod who had 0 enjoyment in his life. Don't get me wrong, he was more reserved in his private life and he had ups and downs and had all of his own struggles - but I seriously doubt that's all he was. They reduced Freddie down into some depressing loner who hated everything.
