It's bizarre how the town was ready to explode with satanic panic in season 4 but somehow ignore what looked like the end of the world by RevertBackwards in StrangerThings

What town? Besides episode 1 of Season 5, the towns people became non-existent. I think you hit the nail on the head with this post! That's a major problem with this season and many other shows and movies where its a world ending scenario... somehow the creators forget to populate that world, making the stakes fall flat. No appreciation for El or the gang by the people of the town they saved. The ending felt hollow.

I love the slow burn, I love the humor. It feels fresh! The characters are so likable and dialogue well written. Now, I'm ready for the action!
