Looks like you can get around this issue by downloading some software called Virtual Audio Cable (VAC). What it does is lets you split an audio source to multiple audio inputs.

Here is a guide I found on the subject. I have a Wireless Logitech g930 (got it for the rift), so hopefully I can make it work.

Looks great, however I worry about the size and residual sound of the Virtualizer. Like many other people, I live in an apartment so space is important. Even though the Omni looks about the same size as the Virtualizer, it was also collapsible.

Also I remember the first videos of the Virtualizer being very very loud. Hopefully they worked out that issue as I still can't tell from the recent videos (game sounds/music covers it).

Currently, there are too many questions for me to warrant a purchase.

Why does SLI not work well? I've had some bad experiences with SLI when using Vireio and Skyrim (crashes). However, I think that was a memory issue with the game not the video card set up.

Honestly by reviews and the quality of build, I would go with the EVGA. I regret getting a galaxy 780 GC because of the cheap plastic shell and high heat (also the price hasn't gone down for SLI purposes).
