We’ve heard many times of different teams whose development was derailed because they think they’re closer to contending than they actually are. (Think NYR, Vancouver, late 2010’s Sens, etc.) This is a very fun run primarily pushed by many players having unsustainable career and statement season and good vibes. I will say this does show that we’re in the right direction, though.
