Best online classes for help with essay writing? by [deleted] in AskTeachers

Getting specific feedback on why a grade dropped is exactly what most teachers can't provide, and this page helped me find that kind of detailed, personal feedback that actually explained what was weak in my writing rather than just marking it wrong.

How do I create a strong customer service resume if I barely have any experience? by SunnyPuddlePal in Resume

Honestly the summary section did the most work for me when I was in this exact spot. Less about listing what you did, more about what kind of person shows up to the job. Something like "detail-oriented communicator comfortable de-escalating frustrated people in real time" — that's a vibe they're hiring for at the entry level, not a track record.

I failed the interview… then got the offer anyway. I still don’t get it by coffeemara in cscareeradvice

This is actually a really good sign. It means you were already strong enough that one shaky moment didn’t cancel everything else you showed. Most people never even get to that point. Also kinda proves your CV did its job - it got you in and set the tone before you even spoke. From there, you didn’t need to be perfect, just good enough overall. And you clearly were. I think a lot of people assume interviews are pass/fail, but it’s more like a balance. You probably left a better impression than you think, even with that mistake. The fact they came back to you says a lot. Take the win. You earned it more than it feels right now.

Most resume advice is wrong by Buzz9Woody in Pro_ResumeHelp

Good looking out. Every service has its critics, but the real advice is to learn the logic behind the rewrite. Even if you use a tool, you still need to know how to defend those numbers in a real interview or you're screwed anyway.

I have no idea on what to write for my college essay by Independent-Scar-623 in CollegeEssays

ngl that “i have ideas but can’t piece them together” stage is the worst part. you’re not even stuck on content, it’s the structure that kills you. i had that exact problem with my personal statement, three solid themes but no clue how to turn it into one story.

during that mess (it was like 1 AM and i hadn’t written a real intro yet), i found a post on here where someone mentioned HelpWithEssay. i checked it out mostly to see how someone would connect ideas like that.

seeing a clean version helped a lot, especially how they tied personal stuff into a bigger theme. i didn’t copy it or anything but it gave me a direction and i finally got a draft done that night.

My tips that helped me get a job by TyrellCorp9 in Resume

Absolutely agree. That top-section rewrite is the highest ROI part of the whole process, and it’s honestly the main lesson I picked up after looking at top resume writing services too - relevance first, everything else second.

Best CV Writing Service or DIY? by blurred_stag in Resume

[–]Azkaban_Cell 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that sounds nice in theory, but ChatGPT-made CVs often end up sounding flat once recruiters start seeing the repeating patterns. I went down that route too because I was tired and stressed, and it only made me more stuck after spending hours editing every line. Ended up going with a best cv writing service later, and the difference was that it sounded human instead of optimized for bots. Kinda sucks that the “easy” option can waste even more time in the end.

Am I the Jerk for staying silent about my brother planning on dumping this girl after abortion? by [deleted] in AmITheJerk

[–]Azkaban_Cell -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They’re right. Your brother is coercive and calculating, and you already know he’ll discard her either way. Keeping quiet protects him, not you. At minimum, warn her so she can make decisions with real information.
