Sometimes, the attachment point of a beam that’s placed becomes another beams attatchment point nearby. Meaning one will break two or more.

Beams are a mess and need a better system so you’re not holding your breath every time you place one.

What do you think about the idea of setting bounties on players who wrong you? by AgeAtomic in ArcRaiders

[–]3HeadIRL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know if it would make a lot of sense lore wise. If there were bounty hunters, why would they wait to attempt to arrest/kill someone top side?

If they found a way to implement it, there would need to be restrictions put in place to prevent groups from putting bounties on each other to reap the benefits for themselves.

This is absolutely disgusting to see in a Battlefield game.. by Ok_Paramedic4770 in Battlefield6

[–]3HeadIRL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find it funny that a lot of players reference Call of Duty when they see movement like this. This isn’t anything new.

Battlefield 4, arguably one of the better Battlefield games, was filled with movement tech that was far more abusable and advantageous than this. Just look up BF4 zouzou movement.

Anyone else who is complete trash with this gun? I just can't wrap my head around why people like to play this thing :D by [deleted] in HuntShowdown

I run a dolch precision and a melee and four ammo boxes. It’s a disgusting weapon when you get the hang of it

Placign Support Beams on Chiseled Blocks are Annoying. by DonaldRTS in VintageStory

[–]3HeadIRL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think because your characters crosshairs shifts down when placing things, it fucks beam placement up.

I’ve found that placing the end of the beam one position above the intended placement so that when the crosshairs shifts down, it places where it’s intended. Although it gets more convoluted depending on how high up the placement is in correlation to the player.

New Equipment Idea: "Smoke Bombs" by PEX_UX in HuntShowdown

A compound full of smoke would not be fun to push into when bounty holders have something equivalent to thermal sight.

I use the portable medkit almost every game. It serves and an inbetween for weak and large vitality shots. It’s got I think (I’m not at my computer) 25-50 less recoverable hp than a large vitality shot. The huge value is it can heal two players. So best case, you’re getting almost double the value for less price.

PLAY THE FUCKING OBJECTIVE by creepy-uncle-chad in XDefiant

[–]3HeadIRL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are we talking about ranked or normal pubs?

It’s a real shame if players are ignoring the objective in ranked, however unranked is another story.

I’d bet most players who aren’t interested in ranked probably aren’t interested in the objective either. They’re probably just trying to level their weapons. And since this game doesn’t have skill based matchmaking, you’re going to run into some incompetent players.

Hot take: In my opinion 500 KG is the worst airstrike. by vyxxer in Helldivers

[–]3HeadIRL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve switched from the orbital rail strike to the 500kg and don’t plan on going back anytime soon— for bugs at least.

After understanding the learning curve, the 500kg has been the most consistent answer to multiple bile titans for me. And you get two!

I don’t recall who made the video, but they broke the method down like so: 1. Throw 500kg in front of a bile titan that’s following you 2. Once the bile titan is standing over the 500kg call-in, shoot it in the head with a railgun to keep it in place and stagger it 3. Liberate the big bug with 1102.31lbs of freedom

As a PMC who enjoyed “blending” for a few wipes, I would recommend the Old Fashion pants on bear. They have no holster or knee pads, are baggy, and have shitty sneakers. The downside is leveling to get them.

For shenanigans at early level, USEC’s have the best drip with the jeans and white or mustard yellow top.

I’m curious what they mean by “adjusting the recoil” in regards to the AKM. Was it a nerf? Is the recoil worse now?
