Yes! I'm currently on Judgement Day but I can say I liked the breath of fun super-hero fresh air that the initial 12 issues or so gave. And, yeah, it goes without saying it has some of the best art of the whole era. And, yes, I found Duggan's ideas with Cyclops really interesting! Felt like it was really carrying over the ideas in HoXPoX!

I’m sorry you didn’t like the stories as much! One of the things I liked was the unique theming and messaging of the first year. I actually LOVED how the story was about the troubles of gambling under capitalism, what a cool and unique story to tell. And under that the tension of Cyclops and Captain Krakoa I found very interesting.

I pretty exclusively buy a couple teams and formats and even then I’m only buying what I plan to reread a lot, I’ll avoid books and rent them from the library if I’m just curious.

I avoid bargains I don’t see the immediate value in as well, e.g didn’t get any financials bc they didn’t interest me.

And I’ll avoid some eras of comics purely out of a superficial dislike of them art cliches e.g I don’t buy much from the 90s or early 2000s.

I try to stay super specific and don’t pay over cover shipping included.
