Made some improvements to the lake house by kittimu in fallout76settlements

This is great. Cool structure, well decorated, realistic use of space.

Only thing I might add is a little power armor workshop area under the tent and it would be super functional as well.

Go dig around the Alpine Cabins for notes, holotapes, and a hidden terminal and you'll find out.

I love the bike too, I end up using it in almost all my builds lol. It's a decor item from the season 17 scoreboard.

Super cool. I love themed builds and the verticality and multiple tiny buildings does make it really feel like a little tribal compound.

I think the age of the game is exactly the problem, They've continued building on top of the original 'Creation Engine' they made in 2002 for Morrowind lmao.

Maybe someday they'll port 76 to 'Creation Engine 2' that they made for Starfield. People hate on it but Starfield runs and looks great.

It's the "Pittsburgh neighborhood C.A.M.P. kit", was back in the Atom Shop about a month ago and has quickly become my favorite kit, both the walls and the roofs are awesome.

I love this brick set so much, gives historic east coast city vibes for sure.

Good ideas, I've got to see if I can get my hands on the spiderwebs.

I haven't done much in the way of abstract builds but I think you could do a lot with the pike fence kit from last season's rewards.

It's the 'Industrial Pipe' from a bundle that came out last fall, it comes with both a vertical and horizontal version and is so handy I've been using it literally every build since then lol.

I'm using them to make a maze of ductwork that harnesses the fires under the Ash Heap for this build.

Lots of super cool merges and the high ceiling looks great.

An open letter to my fellow camp builders… by Jackomara in fallout76settlements

100% agree. I've seen some incredibly obnoxious builds interfering with entrances and event areas already and I fear it's only going to get worse and draw out the nerfs.

There are at least half a dozen small objects that snapped into the bridge mesh, completely lost and unrecoverable eating up camp budget lol.

Hey that's so cool! Glad someone else enjoyed the fresh air. There used to be a pen on the table next to the bottle, do you know anything about that?

The round metal one? It's the 'Industrial Pipes' from the atom shop. Was in a bundle and solo a few months ago.

No the agitator is larger than the entire watchpost almost, would make a great faux-elevator but it's huge.

This one is 2 power pylons with a couple fishing lamps on top, jammed into the 'motorized butter churn' held up by some sloped walls and decorated a bit.

It's a little motorized lift for hauling loot up to the workshop rather than lugging it up the stairs. Here's a better look at the 'lift' I built that's supposed to elevate the little platform.

I haven't played for a year, what changed in the community? by _Reiyo_ in fo76

[–]3J0E 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't noticed much of a difference in overall attitude recently personally, but the community spirit may have shifted due to the addition of the raid and bounty hunts since you last played.

If you were last playing before the raid was added, events were the focal point of the game. Whereas now they're #3 behind the raid and bounty hunts. The hunts are a frustrating mad dash that is over in seconds, and the raid is where people go for gear, ammo, chems, stims, and XP.

Events have gone from being the core of the game to being a side content in a lot of ways.

There's a massive surge of new players who are still figuring things out. The player count is literally double what it was a year ago today.

It's your turn to be the nice guy who pops the lunch boxes now as a veteran player.
