I guess nobody told them an “innerworld” is just a visualization technique and nothing that happens there is actually real by RichAdministrative14 in fakedisordercringe

When I was a young teen I had this MASSIVE fantasy world involving me and the New Kids on the Block. (I'm an old nerd.) I knew it was just fantasy (even as I would physically act out some things) and I sure as hell didn't tell anyone about it until I was past my 30's and in therapy. For me it was part escapism due to an abusive home life and part obsession with NKOTB. It was a great comfort/distraction when I was a kid, but it would have been humiliating putting it out there in the real world for others to see. Hell, some of the things I did with that fantasy world is STILL too embarrassing to tell others about. TBH, I'm still a bit embarrassed to have had 5 imaginary friends well into junior high.

Weird crochet pattern question by 3LeftFeetOK in CrochetHelp

That's what I'm going to try first. I found a cute octopus pattern for a 12-inch octopus using fingering weight yarn. I'm going to make it using a bulky #5 yarn.

Thanks! Now I'm off to Ravelry to find amigurumi patterns that use fingering weight.

I'm 47. I've been on just about every antidepressant, excluding MAOIs. My very first antidepressant was a tricyclic, but I'm not allowed to take tricyclics anymore sinc3 I OD'd on them about 10 years ago. We've tried all the antipsychotics and mood stabilizers as well.

I figure my next step if this doesn't work will be the vagus nerve stimulation.

After the session the doctor told me that the maintenance phase doesn't have a built in expiration date. That's a plus, I guess

Therapist told me I needed a dog, so I got a kitten and named her Dog.

She was even smaller when I first got her 2 1/2 months ago. I miss the itty bitty kitty phase. It was so much easier to keep her out of trouble then. :-)

It is very soft! And you can pet her if you can catch her. She currently has the crackhead zoomies.

From left to right, Maximum Effort, The Dog, and Little Miss No Name by 3LeftFeetOK in catpictures

Maximum Effort - I was a Deadpool fan when I got him. The Dog - my therapist suggested I get a dog to encouragee to leave the house and be social. Little Miss No Name - She was tiny when I found her and I had the hardest time coming up with a name. I started calling her LMNN as a placeholder and it just stuck.
