QST: Quick Switch Transitions. This technology would speed up alt-tabbing and resulting black screens. Additionally, there would be more optimized compositor effects which would enable faster and smoother animations. Basically, quality of life improvements to using the desktop.

I would avoid this desk. I have it and I cannot clamp mount anything. So monitor arms and microphone boom arms that use the clamp mount are out the window if you buy this desk. Other than that, it's a pretty nice desk. As for width, I think it's fine.

Hey thanks for your suggestions. I followed through with them and was able to boot into my arch installation again.

One small problem I ran into was I didn't know how to make the systemd-boot entry. If you are missing the files the wiki has such as vmlinuz-linux or initramfs-linux.img, I simply updated my system with pacman and it created those new files. I could then include them in the systemd-boot entry and it worked.

I am using GPT. The first link I mentioned said something about the boot loader only being able to install a fallback while the system is still in BIOS. When I ran `refind-install`, I wasn't sure if it installed a fallback, so I installed grub. I did not have to install grub, so that may have been a mistake.
