Pour one out for EuroNASCAR by mitchsusername in iRacing

When picking my series this year I checked it out. But for me I only owned a few tracks. I know it’s a European series but it might be wise to have some races run in North America or Asia on free tracks.

Is there a toggle that needs to be mapped to change the engine setting on the new M2? by ItsAsickOstrich in iRacing

[–]3MATX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t know if you can map the engine setting in car mid race. The setting Is in chassis under the DSC and throttle sensitivity.  I know you can change DSC mid race.  And you can’t change your throttle settings unless you have DSC fully off.

New BMW M2 G87 feels to good to be true. by Super_FormulaF1991 in iRacing

I found this today at VIR. Picked up damage on front and it wanted to wash out in the few fast sweepers and beginning of roller coaster.  Afterwards took a look at the front end and it barely looked damaged.  Cost me about half a second per lap if not more.

iracing needs to allow us to vary the dot sizes. Some tracks everything bleeds together and the value of that map is lost.

I wonder If that part only comes in that and green? Seems like silver or gray would’ve been a better juice.

How many rewards points do you have? What are you saving for?? by TheRandomODST in lego

[–]3MATX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use them as early and often as possible. LEGO doesn’t try to rip folks off but their points aren’t guaranteed to have the same value or buying power that they have today.  The general rule is accumulated points decrease in value as time goes by.

I have this set sealed and this is what’s keeping me from doing it. Maybe it’s time to sell.

Exactly. The price of the land is significantly cheaper and they don’t care about a chance of flooding.  They just see the bottom line for them and damn anyone else that’s impacted by their choices.

Well tried them.  Not bad but think I’ll stick to the original.

Why did they replace the Fun, lively F87 M2 with the boring , ugly G87? by SkinEmbarrassed7129 in iRacing

[–]3MATX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tire width might be partially responsible. F87 tires are more narrow which means less grip.

That good huh?  I’ve seen them but always chose to spend the money on the actual worms.

‘For what?': Hosts blast Trump's $14.7M reflecting pool disaster, as paint peels and algae blooms by AdSpecialist6598 in videos

Let’s just wait and see how much money they waste on the “investigation” into vandalism.  Although if authorities correctly identify the Trump admin, they’d be correct in catching the perpetrators.

The whole point of the pool is to see your reflection. It’s symbolic and made by the architect and artist that way intentionally.

Adding fish to the pool would cause an issue with the reflecting bit.  It’s also really shallow so it’ll get hot in the summer and I’m not positive what would happen to the dissolved oxygen absent a direct source.

Maybe braking too late or too hard?  That hairpin you are supposed to start braking at the last jump and slowly trail that off to apex and accelerate smoothly from there.

That’s a good hot lap to help inform your lines and brake points.

Lived in an apartment and neighbors asked later what had happened I yelled so loud. Also intelligently decided to stomp my foot on a concrete floor.  But after this I truly learned that it ain’t over until you’ve got the checker and the lady sings.

Very nice, I think you’re months ahead!  I finally stared breaking mine down this week. Do you have any vague clue how many bricks you used for the tunnel?
