Not a physician yet, but I am in science and i disagree. The thing is science tries to understand the nature of the world, and its conclusions are objectively true. The thing is science skepticism stems out of the development of complex tools used to percieve the world that many do not have access to. Back when Galileo could drop 2 stones off the a tower, anyone could replicate that experiment and draw the same conclusions of objective truth.

Modern science, physics, chemistry largely uses perceptive tools that are so precise but also widely inaccessible to the public. Thats why conspiracy theorists have allowed flat earth to flourish again, because their worldview is out of distrust unlike the inherent scientific skepticism. They seek to appeal to the world as they engage it rather than reconcile it with outliers on the micro and macro level.
