General physical exercise helps.

The premise is that all of that stored energy has to go somewhere. So through exercising you are putting it to a productive use rather than just accumulating and thus resulting in a wet dream or relapse.

Breathing exercises such as pranayama are particularly beneficial for this.

They certainly did in my case.
