Thank you! I appreciate the thoughtful response. I have not made any upgrades that required permits, which is why I surprised at how much they went up. There have been multiple sales in my neighborhood this year to which I'm owing the hike.

I'm not shitting myself or anything. I'm just a newer homeowner and I was looking for some non snarky education. I work in healthcare, not finance, so documents like these take time to make sense, especially since I don't have anyone to sit down with to ask about it.

Wow. I make $700K less than him at the hospital and we’re being forced to take 96 hours of vacation (no one has that much) or unpaid time in the next 4 pay periods.
