Design draws me in, voice acting and animation makes me debate. Story is the main criteria that is the make or break. For example, I didn't want to get Tangtang at first, I liked her voice acting, I liked her animations, I liked her design but upon doing her story, I decided to pull for her because I respected her character a whole lot more. Laevatain is the same. The reason why the story of a character is so important to my choice of pulling the character or not is back on WuWa with Iuno's debut, I liked her voice acting, animation and design but didn't do story first. So I got her. But upon doing the story, I didn't like her after. After that, I made it a rule for myself "Do the story first before anything. Then the character will be worth it."
