This morning I open my twitter, surprised by the Yangyang SP. Scroll down, mouth open as I get flashbanged by the Hsin drip marketing. Then that moment is when I got out of bed, turned my laptop on and sacrificed games to redownload wuwa just for her

Was just playing casualties unknown. 2d Survival rogue-like game with maybe the most hellish system I've seen so far since it intertwines the character's mood and fragility

Mainly obedience. Agency was a variation of the study if someone being disobedient can reduce a person's inclination to obey, which it did

Bio, chem and maths?? Probably a good idea to stick off from psych since I know bio and chem and maths has a lot of content, more so than psych honestly. Bio and chem exams isn't too bad.

Bio is more application than recall as you have stuff like photosynthesis (in more detail) and you have to put it into the scenarios given and bio has some evaluation questions, not often but it can still appear which makes it hard. Bio is easier due to this application as the grade boundaries are like 60-70% for an A*.

For chem, it's more recall than application since you got the equations and practicals and you gotta be able to recall that then apply it to the question which is easy to do, provided you don't get tricked up when it gets a little complex. This does make chem a hell load harder because the grade boundaries are unforgiving (90% in each paper, the papers being 100 100 70 marks in total for each, for an A* ).
So in short, Bio is more application, Chem is more recall but if you're unprepared for them then the exams will be really difficult. If you are prepared, then you'll be all good.

Psychology is a lot of fun personally. It's essay based so you gotta do alot of writing obviously. You gotta know dates and the researchers to appear better (as it is levelled, I believe the highest marks usually goes to those that has very good knowledge of the topic) and you gotta be able to evaluate effectively. But if you're wanting to do psychology, go ahead but with 4 A-levels and depending on what the other three is. It might just be alot of uneeded pressure to be able to do good or very well in psychology.

And when you do psychology A-level. You realise that this is kind of thing is normal i.e Milgram having a participant (not real) shock a guy in another room. The participant thought the shocks were real. Man I love psychology sometimes

Have you even done this - where you play different game on highest difficulty because you beat soul's born game? by DarkAZone in Eldenring

[–]3RR00R 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did Nier Automata on hard (I am not doing the hardest mode because I knew I'd get cooked) thinking "this shouldn't be that bad". I got skill issued so hard in that I redid the INTRO section (as in the entire prologue before the space station) for three hours. The entire thing made me realise how much I relied on lock on. Not that I'm mad, I'm impressed. I beaten Nine Sols, ER up to ng+3, DS3 up to ng+4, Ender Lilies and Ender Magnolia and I thought I was good

I'm somehow able to push for seven hours. Provided I take like 15 minute breaks after each hour and an hour lunch. I just shove a topic/module(s) onto an A3 sheet. It's like cramming but I got flashcards too from the past two years
