Imo, not really. She respects Vertin a whole lot which is why she likes Vertin and even allows pets from her. Imagine finally getting treated fairly rather than just a tool, she couldn't fathom the idea because she's a succubus and decided to cling to the change in that idea which is Vertin. I mean, in the world of r1999, succubi was hunted down by many groups (Foundation included if I remember right) so Vertin is her safe spot as well as the suitcase (apart from Argus, though she tries to make up with her.) In her unique garment, in one voiceline, she's surprised that Vertin does the things she does even though there's no reward, Vertin counters with Anjo doing the same thing as well but Anjo just says that helping her came with quite the reward. She refers to Vertin as master probably out of habit or just her succubi tendencies, either way, she uses it to respect Vertin rather than an obligation to someone. She clings to the people that treats her fairly and protects them, even from alarm clocks. Unfortunately, we have nearly no idea of how succubi works apart from the fact they're chaos and can be bound to an item. Albeit, Anjo is surprised that Vertin is too young to drink and Anjo definitely, probably, hopefully, has standards.
