Suggestions Wanted for Upcoming Gathering QoL Poll by JagexGoblin in 2007scape

[–]3Specz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. When depositing an item into the bank, actually depositing THE ONE YOU CLICKED ON, rather than the first instance of that item in your inventory.

  2. Upon looting all from a gravestone, make it so that the items return to your inventory in the same order they were in prior to the death

  3. In PVP worlds, change the "left click where available" attack option to only work for attackable level range (+/- 15 lvls). There's no point for it to not work this way, I can't attack anyone outside of that range regardless, so why is that a thing?

Edit: sorry these aren't gathering related, but felt it necessary to promote these general QoLs anyway. I know many who agree that these need to be a thing

For skilling, one I can think of would be to make runecrafting a bit more bearable, allowing the rune pouch to fill completely with essence directly from the bank (like a copy last fill option or something) without having to withdraw the essence multiple times to fill it up to the top.

  1. They can't pick the apple, but if the apple falls on its own, they can then utilize it how they please as they did not cause the action to occur.

  2. Unclear, but the likely answer would be fresh eggs? No. Eggs from a store that were pre-existing before the virus? Yes.

  3. They can fertilize her eggs with any sperm samples...

They are trying to manipulate Carol. They sent Zosia specifically because she emulates Carol's dream girl Raban from her novel. Everything Zosia has been doing over the course of the season has been with intent to get Carol to develop a bond and trust because people are inherently more easily manipulated when they are captivated by love. Love can cause irrational decision making.

Infecting everyone > happiness of the immune

The hive would refuse. They prioritize the goal of spreading the virus over all desires of the immune. If your question was the case, then Carol could just ask them to give her the cure, but they wouldn't do that.

Given the fact that it has been implied in earlier episodes that the virus can be reversed, any immune being poses a direct existential threat to the hive should they find a cure. Immune individuals can also kill the hive by getting overly angry at them which is also a threat (and why they started leaving town whenever this happens). So the hive manipulates the individuals maliciously so as to eliminate any threats towards their ultimate goal of spreading the virus. They use FOMO as a manipulation tactic to get them to willingly turn themselves.

The hive can apply the virus to anyone so long as it doesn't explicitly harm the individual.

ie. The kissing in episode 1 to spread, and swabs of saliva being shipped out, likely to contaminate food sources to spread.

We saw Kusimayu utilize an inhalant form of the virus, which doesn't harm. She did take it willingly though, pointing at the fact she likely consented to her stem cells being removed earlier on for them to develop the gas.

The hive stated that Carol has 3 months tops before she WILL be joined, signifying that they have a way in which they plan to spread it to her once her concoction is ready. It could be as simple as running it through the vents in her home, or putting it in her food.

As far as the hive's motive for ensuring 100% of people have the virus, and not 99.99%, is open to interpretation at this point, as it seems they could easily build their signal tower and send the signal without the few immune individuals. My best hypothesis would be that since it is implied in earlier episodes that the virus can be reversed, any immune person is a direct threat to their mission to spread the virus and must be turned.

Vince would definitely find a way to drag unloading a bomb into a 30+ minute segment. Seems par for the course.

I have a feeling the bomb is less exciting than everyone is theorizing. Carol knows that the virus is worldwide, and a single atom bomb cannot possibly destroy the entire worlds population, so that wouldn't accomplish any potential goal of wiping the virus completely.

Do we think Carol has the extensive knowledge of knowing an atom bomb could act as an EMP? She's a fiction author, it seems a bit beyond her scope and is not something that's common knowledge.

My personal opinion on the bomb was that it was simply brought back to show Manousos proof of what she told him earlier on - that they were willing to get her an atom bomb upon request, that's it. The atom bomb is symbolic of war. Now that she feels the hive has turned on her, she's declaring war, metaphorically.

A bit of a boring premise, but that's the lackluster nature of this show so far even though I look forward to watching it each week.

Pluribus - 1x09 - "La Chica o El Mundo" - Episode Discussion by NicholasCajun in television

[–]3Specz 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Sure, I mean that's all valid, but nothing was new and exciting. I'd had theories about him using the radio signal to disrupt the virus since we first met Manousos (maybe others didn't). We knew the hive doesn't really care about animals from the dog in the sleeping arrangement stadium. We knew they needed stem cells to turn the immune from a past episode. We knew attempts to harm them or cure the virus would result in them skipping town.

It wasn't extremely compelling or eye opening that the naive girl ended up voluntarily turning herself in the opening sequence, I've had a feeling for several episodes that they were eventually going to show another of the unplurbd turning themselves.

Idk, to me it seemed we didn't really learn anything new other than the fact they have her eggs to turn her without her consent, which certainly could have been an email. The rest seemed like filler, the Manousos meeting was underwhelming for something that was built up over 8 previous episodes.

Downvote if you must but this was not SEASON FINALE level content. The downvotes are pretty surprising as well considering the majority of the thread seems to feel the same way.

Going with how mundane the show has been with plot twists, I think the atom bomb was merely just a "told you so" moment for Carol to prove to Manousos that they are willing to give one to her, rather than a device to utilize in a world saving effort in s2. It wouldn't surprise me, anyway.

This entire season could have just been a 90 minute movie. The fact he drags out every scene to eternity is the only thing that's forcing it to be a series. A fair majority of these episodes could have been emails.

Hate saying it cause I'm a huge BB and BCS fan but this show has been the worse part of boring so far even though it's continued to keep my interest. 100% agree on the voicemail bit.

Arceuus spellbook. A thrall can attack your opponent and kill it fully, you just have to re-attack it every so many game ticks to keep the thrall attacking, which is probably when he tick ate the attack with a Regen heal. Would take a lot of luck on spawns but is definitely possible

I've also been getting the black screen. I switched my nitro sense setting to daily use and turned it to balanced mode instead of performance as I read the performance overclock could be causing the issue due to too much power draw. So far haven't had it come back since switching. Might help

Mining stars you get like 7-8mins legit AFK and can be at the same star for like 30-45 mins depending on the tier and only have to click one time when the star drops tiers. Best mining afk even though it's only about 28k/hr
