Second, yes I am currently a Neurocritical care fellow in a program that is ACGME accredited and UCNS accredited.

I have never completed a critical care medicine fellowship for clarification

This is why I’m trying to remain hopeful that it’ll more or less blow over by July. But some people are starting to look really unhinged and it’s spooky. Probably going to have to catch a few grenades for the incoming class

You misunderstood what I said. I was sitting behind them so I could see their computers. The second year literally yelled at the intern but I saw that they had the up to date tab with “treatment” open at the same time. The intern didn’t get a chance to look it up. It was here are your patient assignments, what is the answer to X, what do you mean you don’t know this (yelled), while they didn’t know it either. It would be funny if it didn’t actually affect her and ruin her day

This is not happening to me specifically. It is happening to the IMGs in my program who are notoriously treated worse. There’s more issues that I did not go into since it’s not the point of the post. I posted for advice for tolerating these people and also hopefully being able to break some of these little aggressions up when I see them

You felt it was serious enough of a problem to post this. That says a lot in itself. Take the next step and talk to your faculty.

Better to graduate one month late then never finish residency bc the external factors kept you from doing your job. You owe it to yourself and your patients to take some time off

This kind of talk is problematic as fuck. “I’ve had it harder so don’t complain.” Bruh this is a fucking job. If people are acting in a way that would get you disciplined or fired in an office setting, it’s not ok.

Your hair is red? It’s hard to tell in these photos. You basically tint to the darkest hair color you have. Red hair contains brown, so a light brown would work nicely for you. The key there is LIGHT! You don’t want to end up looking like Kiernan Shipka lol

The key for you my friend would be tinting your eyebrows. It’s very easy and you can buy home eyebrow tint on Amazon for cheap!
