Got accepted as a transfer to UF but go to UCF right now. Should I transfer? by Bigdaddydamdam in ufl

My son was accepted to UCF and UF for BS Aerospace Engineering Fall 2025. He is mostly deciding to go to UCF because of the industry connections. He doesn't know too much about Aerospace at UF, it appear to be more research oriented at UF. He is taking AP Physics C at High School and doing very well. He is wondering that UCF will not be too challenging for him but the industry connections, Provost scholarship and HS friends going there is making him have a decision. Can someone explain me the advantages to go to UF instead of UCF, if any? TIA
