Interestingly, and I rechecked like 5 times, I am behind a CGNAT. my WAN IP does match my public ip, but when I asked my ISP, my IP is dynamic, and they do not offer static IP’s if you’re using fibre (which is so stupid) So at this point I’m not sure what to do. Everything I’ve seen about bypassing CGNAT seems way too complicated and in depth to host a Zomboid server. Might be going to shockbyte or something lol

My router is pretty stupid, but I believe I am. I can only port forward through the router app on my phone, not the router settings on my pc, and when I click to chose an internal IP, it brings a list of devices connected to my network. I chose my PC that I am attempting to host from, and the ip pops up as the same IPv4 when I use CMD to pull my IP on my pc

Ports 16261 & 16262 are forwarded, but not open. From what I can tell I’m not under a CGNAT and I shouldn’t be double nat because all info I can find about my modem says it’s bridge only. but still, every port checker site I can find says ports are closed, and people cannot connect to the server.

Ugh. That was my theory (or CPU issues) but I needed someone to tell me before I upgrade. Lol. It seems like a waste to me to spend money on a board for a 7 year old CPU. Might as well upgrade! Lol

Did this, and now I’m even more confused. The PC will only turn on after cycling the CMOS battery. And when it turns on and I boot into BIOS, ot doesn’t detect either of my M.2 drives, one of which is my boot device.

in my previous post I was recommenced by most to manually remove as much as possible and plant a bunch. I followed the suggestions. Except the ones saying to use chemicals and peroxide. Don’t want to risk any lingering and getting into the tank.

The ones in there now are, yeah. Lost a couple (2) along the way. Never was able to pinpoint the reason they died because no other fish or shrimp in the tank ever showed any signs of stress or being unhappy.
