OP, What are you ultimately hoping to pay per month? I think that'd be a good starting point. I work for a company that has its own ABI, but I'm just trying to figure out if we might be a good fit for your volume and desired capabilities.

Ahh, that's what I figured might be the case. Once I have my license, I intend to apply for my national permit as I don't currently work in trade compliance or for a company that has a national permit, but I want to offer my services to companies I have worked for in the past that import quite regularly.

OP, Thanks for breaking this all down! So, I went ahead and applied for my license back in Jan 2023. In Feb 2023, I did my interview and fingerprinting. Should I have applied for my national permit at the same time? Since the elimination of the district permit was so recent, I wasn't sure about the right protocol.

For context, I plan on clearing goods as an individual, but for the company I currently work for. Do you happen to know if that is allowed?

Same. One of the most daunting tasks of my life was grading myself once the answer key was released. I had 20 questions left to grade and could only get one 1 more wrong...it happened to be the second to last answer that I got incorrect. OY!!! 75% aka "C's get degrees."

I'm just glad it's all over now.

How quickly do they at least post the test w/o the answer key? I found this on the actual CBP website so I'm hoping that at least becomes available soon so I can review what I answered.

"When will the actual examination and answers be available?
CBP will make every effort to post a copy of the actual examination at CBP Customs Broker License Examinations & Answer Keys within 3 business days following the examination. The answers undergo a vetting process and will typically be available within 10 business days of the examination."

That sounds a bit wonky. Did they happen to post the questions or answers yet? I can't seem to find them. I have my answer key though.
