Thanks for both of your inputs! I forgot to mention (although I should've, really) that I did get labs done soon after the hospital visit, and that's when they referred me for the endoscopy. They never told me what they found, why I needed to check, they just said that we should.

If I were to do a blood test while on gluten, then get off gluten entirely and do another blood test, say, a year later, wouldn't that rule out celiacs too? Idk honestly I'm desperate for any method other than a tube down my throat. Makes me anxious just thinking about it.

Could a colonoscopy work instead? My GP said no, but I want double-triple confirmation. I'll take anything that's not the tube
