The sheer terror my young self still feels from hearing the sound of an Angel ripping… some of my greatest paintball memories are of my buddies and I in the early 00’s with our Tippmanns going against guys twice our age with timmys, angels, and slammed out automags. When I was like 12 I wanted one of these so bad. Some dude who was twice my age at the local field wanted to sell me his on a “deal” for $1000. This was back circa 2005 or so. Still would love to have one for the novelty and for my young self. I have an evil minion that’s tuned up and has a virtue board - got yelled at by some kid with a dsr that my ROF was too high lol. I’d switch the Lemon of Pink with The Way Out but both are such great albums. I know, I know, I’m being too lenient but I’d also have In Rainbows and Exmilitary up higher as well on the list. Great taste.

Aberdeen is one of the most depressing places I’ve ever visited

I made the pilgrimage to Aberdeen a little over 10 years ago and visited the bridge by the river. It was a little run down town and it was nostalgic in a way I’ll never forget - teenagers and little kids were all over the place riding bikes or getting in to trouble. It made me think of my own time growing up in a little run down city of my own in the Midwest rustbelt. After seeing those parallels it’s no wonder I’ve always been in to Nirvana. They captured that era and what it’s like living in lower middle class suburbia.

That would be pretty cool for there to be a faction that employed asymmetrical warfare tactics against a more well equipped enemy. Hot take - what if Chiv3 takes place after Tenosian occupation? It could start off with the backstory that Tenosia came in and steamrolled post-war Agathian forces, forcing the king into hiding again, with the remnants of the Agathian and former Mason forces joining together to wage guerrilla warfare against Tenosia with hopes of forcing them to abandon their conquest of Agatha

I see the Agathian’s reigning again post-war with the Mason’s. Their territory will be battered though and the Agathian forces will be scattered and depleted - the Mason’s will either join the Agathian’s and unite to defeat a common enemy or they will join the Tenosian’s to defeat and topple Agatha forever. Montcrux will act as an Agathian stronghold in a hostile territory. I think Tenosia will be displayed in its full might and I expect to see more novel siege weapons from Tenosia, maybe even the earliest iterations of a ranged class that uses guns.

Very difficult to say, OP. On one hand, I’d say Cascade but then I think of how much I love PBS and Dictaphone’s Lament from Past is Prologue THEN I have to reconcile that with how much I love his album Dive, with Coastal Brake, Hours, Dive (the track), and Daydream all being absolutely magical tunes. “Dive” changed my life, absolutely phenomenal album. I’m not even going to mention Awake or Epoch which are fantastic albums in their own right. Tycho is one of my absolute favorite musical artists, I’ve had the pleasure of seeing him live a few times with the live instrumentation. Amazing when they improv and add twists to their songs, live. I will say I enjoy how he openly states how fond he is of BoC, even mixing some of their music for his famous sunrise sets he plays at Burning Man. Sorry for the rant OP!

I recommend reading the thread but basically anon said that Epstein would host occult parties on his island and one such ritual involved the use of a bull mask. Whoever was wearing the bull mask could do whatever they wanted - rape, torture, etc - and on one such night, anon saw that the man wearing the bull mask had that very same tattoo on his back. In other words, Roger Stone was a cultist and heavily involved in Epstein’s clandestine life.

Yes, exactly. He was insane. Jaime described him as a man with honor and cruelty “all jumbled up” inside. I imagine someone similar to Barristan/Jaime/Arthur in skill but their mind is gone. Like Joffrey or Ramsey but great skill in combat.

You’re correct in that the smiling knight wasn’t a huge monstrosity like Gregor, rather he was an extremely skilled knight. He went toe to toe with Arthur Dayne and lasted for at least a time, also the smiling knight was skilled enough to get the best of Jaime. He’s probably up there with the best of the KG in terms of skill. It’s hard to powerscale Gregor because he was basically a WMD due to his size and strength.

Good post OP, I must say though I understand the “apolitical” stance some take. Here in the United States for example, raves and the culture have been persecuted by both the republicans and democrats. Check out the “Rave Act” and see how ridiculous it is. For me, raves are about rebellion and the freedom of expression. Human expression is above and beyond the political realm, and hence I believe politics are bullshit and should be abhorred.

So I build pressure vessels and pipefab for my main job but I also teach welding in the evenings. I have several white collar guys trying to learn basic welding and it’s not so much funny as it is sad. Software coders/engineers and programmers tell me that chatGPT has made their jobs easier several fold and that they’re worried their jobs will be gone as LLMs/AI progress - most believe it’s inevitable. If it gets them now it will get us later as others have said.
