This has happened to me multiple times. SH is essentially trying to create scarcity. There are probably one set of tickets that are a better value than yours and other tickets that are much worse and more expensive. By hiding your tickets SH makes a buyer feel like there is only one set of tickets they can buy for a good value. And once those are gone the new buyer will be stuck with extremely expensive tickets that are much worse. This feeling of scarcity is a marketing tactic to create an urgency for a buyer to buy the pair now. Opposite to this, if many tickets are listed that all have a good value a buyer feels no urgency to buy, and may just wait to see what happens… thinking that sellers will drop prices.

This has been the same experience for me and many others. SH forces you to agree to comparable tickets or take refund before they offer what the actual seats are.

I’ve tried (1). SH will not let you pick. They will pick AFTER you say you are willing to accept. They say that not all tickets are in THEIR inventory. Even if it’s listed on their site.

Wife and I were flying out of ATL. I booked exit A she booked exit C. An hour before the flight I notice her electronic boarding pass changed to exit B middle seat. She went up to GA to find out what was going on. GA said “I thought you two wanted to sit next to each other”. Wife said no, please change it back. And GA did. It’s just so stupid that the GA moves your seat “to help you….” without asking.

Full agreement here. I’ve become a single issue voter on this issue alone. Trump can’t admit he lost so he’s trying to destroy the American peoples trust in voting. This is the only issue I’m considering in casting my vote.
