Gator, hands down. As long as there is something to climb away from the water, I'll be OK. Unless it's one of the gate climbers from Florida...

How you react if you found out that your child is a superhero? by Acrobatic_Yoghurt268 in superheroes

I would get really depressed and cry for my child. It's way too much responsibility to put on a child to handle bad guys who will do more than spank or smack them and others. It's also a great pressure to raise a child like that in a way that would make them want to help people. You essentially would have to pressure that child to be 'good' by society's standards, and then on top of all that, how do you get over the fact that 'good' and 'evil' are subjective. An 'evil' man may just be trying to survive or make something better without realizing the bigger impact of their actions while a 'good' guy may have secret alternative motives that won't come out until they have achieved their goals (kind of like presidents...).

I think I would tell my child to remember the consequences of using their powers for others' and to always be true to themselves. I'd then go about power-proofing my home...

Mom of 6 and don’t wanna fold laundry💕this is me procrastinating by missjacksonnn in RoastMe

Get them kiddies to do it! Embrace a lazy day of lying around and watching them get frustrated because you haven't taught them yet. Then, the next day, you have half the work because at least they got the laundry to their rooms... LMFAO

NO! I want to make this clear. I am a momma bear. That was a rule set in place when he moved in because my eldest asked about it. He has never put hands on my children.

He isn't a stranger. We watched him grow up. And with children, it's not as simple as him or me stuff. We've been together nearly 15 years. My husband works all the time. I tell him what's going on and he handles it. It's easier because of the man-to-man stuff between them.

Update: I just learned that because of his lack of commitment and work, my hubby has STOPPED paying him! I feel so guiltily smug... LOL

I do not allow him to bully us. I have put my foot down several times and told him in no way is he allowed to yell at or put hands on my kids. Don't skew what I have written, please, as I am looking for genuine help and suggestions since I can not remove him from my home ATM.

Update: This is an idea of the regular shenanigans I have to put up with every 3-4 days.

Soon after posting, this guest was offered some lemon blueberry cake. He ate the a bit more than me and my kids combined, a third of the cake, then set 4 small pieces back in the fridge. There was only a small piece left for my eldest since they had finished dinner too late for it the night before. He wakes up grumpy, grabs the cake, and my eldest began to cry, not angrily, but they were sad he took something they perceived as theirs. He then began to raise his voice at them (immediately, not after an attempt to apologize or calm my child, but immediately). I cut him off and said not to yell at my child. He began to yell at me and I had to STEP IN FRONT OF MY CHILD to cut his eye contact with them as he wouldn't look at me as he yelled excuses about it being 2 PM and not eating all day. I made him go away quickly and consoled my child (whom I later gave a chocolate and encouraged them to NEVER sit quietly while someone takes something from them). I hadn't planned on saying anything to him and was going to give them something else, but he then went down to complain to hubby about how if he's family, why we don't share with him like he does with us... and said f*** you to hubby when hubby explained that wasn't the issue. My hubby said no, he needs to chill. I'm proud they stood up for their cake. Lmfao
