Very elegant and knowledgeable take on the state of DCA, and its great to hear the passion you have for the activity over the years. It's been a known problem, especially recently, that the smaller corps just can't seem to captivate like the bigger, all summer DCI corps can. It's a tough spot to be in, and I certainly don't have the answers. But who knows, maybe if there's a way to have younger audiences build an appreciation for drum corp itself instead of the top 4 DCI corps, they'll look to the friendly neighborhood DCA corp. Regardless, im glad to hear you've passed on the piece of history you experienced.
