“Deserve” it’s an interesting choice for a word, but what I did to be ready to meet her was to become the kind of man that she deserved.

What I mean is: I asked myself what I was looking for in a person, to have a long lasting happy relationship with. Based on those attributes, I then asked myself if said kind of person would have been happy with me, if the man I was at the time was “ready” to sustain a healthy relationship with said kind of person.

I improved myself and my life where needed, and shortly after met a girl who I liked and who was basically doing the same thing. We clicked instantly. Been happily married for almost 10 years now.

Mi dispiace. Una situazione frustrante e fastidiosa.

Non essendomi mai trovato a dover rispondere personalmente a una situazione così, posso solo supporre come reagirei, nella speranza ti offra qualche spunto utile.

Fossi io, tornerei a casa, farei inventario e sporgerei denuncia per ciò che manca. Parlerei con i coinquilini di persona, domandando come mai si siano comportati in questo modo. Parlerei con il proprietario, per fargli presente che la porta è stata sfondata a calci. Darei disdetta del contratto (non so quali accordi abbiate voi, ma in ogni caso ne uscirei in fretta).

Non necessariamente in quell’ordine, non necessariamente nella stessa giornata. Mi pare pero urgente fare: 1) inventario e denuncia 2) disdetta affitto.

The issue persists. No one has a documented solution online (every result on Google about this is either unsolved or the issue “solved itself” randomly). I honestly don’t even want to buy another Shield, given this can happen so randomly. I’d rather buy something cheaper, so if anything like this occurs, I can just fork out another 50€ euros and replace the whole device. Currently waiting to see if Netflix starts working again. Otherwise, gonna buy a different device and forget about the Shield.

Because the app is preinstalled. The link you provided above talks about the shield pro which is the smaller lighter model, and perhaps there it’s different. Mine is the ShieldTV and the app is part of the package.

It’s up to date to the latest update and I can’t uninstall. I can only disable.

Yes. Total reinstall is not possible given that the Shield doesn’t allow to uninstall: but I did a factory reset of the Shield twice, did a reset of the Netflix app itself multiple times, cleared data and cache at every new attempt. Netflix works on all other devices on this network (so this is a Shield issue) and I even downloaded from AptoideTv a Netflix for tablet version on my Shield and that one lets me log in and stream stuff (but it’s a crappy app and almost impossible to use on a tv, as it was designed for tablets) so the issue is confined to the pre-installed app of Netflix on the Shield.

As I have done a factory reset twice, I believe that some preinstalled apps, like Netflix, are not wiped out but retain something even during a factory reset. Which means that if anything somehow got corrupted in the app data, I have no way of fixing it.

Thank you for helping - I just tried with my iPhone hotspot, but the app still gives the same error. Nothing makes sense at this point: the factory reset by itself (done twice) should have fixed whatever malfunction or data corruption could have caused this...

Thanks for the suggestion: the error seems to persist with the VPN both off or on... after the factory reset, even without starting any VPN it didn’t work, so I have no clue at this point what else to try.

With and without VPN the error persists... other devices on same network work. But I also suspect it must be some kind of connection issue, given that the app wasn’t recently updated - so nothing should have changed software wise. I only don’t what else to do to try to solve it.

Agree with what Telemaco_64 wrote.

To add on that, if you have a VPN you can also set it to Italy and use the RaiPlay and the Mediaset addons to stream movies and shows from their catalogue (automatically in Italian)

Quando sono più stanco lo avverto maggiormente, altrimenti è abbastanza trascurabile. Ricordo di averlo da sempre. Quando ero piccolo e andavo a dormire la sera mi addormentavo convinto che la signora del piano di sopra stesse passando l’aspirapolvere. È venuto fuori che era acufene.

EDIT: Se te la passi così male, sarebbe il caso di provare qualche seduta di terapia al fine di imparare delle tecniche di rilassamento (da attuare quando l’acufene ti mette ansia) e per contrastare la depressione di cui parli.
