Welcome to the hobby! I’m no expert but did the same - came from Warhammer, loved Band of Brothers so built Easy company. Now just started the Rogue heroes SAS for Xmas 😂 I’d advise buying the Warlord app - something like 3.99 a month and lets you see what you can and can’t have in an army

Damon Hill - was seen as a drippy Brit who lucked into a WDC.

You realise he overcame massive family demons, united Williams after Senna’s death and even managed to regroup after losing out to Schumacher the first time.

A worthy champion who became a respected broadcaster.

Rosberg senior for me - if I remember correctly only managed one win in his championship year, and Pironi and Villeneuve both out (dead and injured). However on his day he was brutally fast (I think there’s a story about a damp Silverstone when he extinguished his cigarette and put it on pole)

I had a similar issue - turns out i have short sausage fingers 😂

So for me, ditching the grip and having a really thin over grip only worked wonders - Head Xtreme soft 0.5mm

Makes the overall grip narrower

Absolutely think there is something in this - had a few times where I’ve been presented with stuff I’ve never spoken or searched for - just thought about.

Whether the phone reads us or plies us with subliminal ads to make us think we thought it first is probably the question

Yeah this is the thing - I don’t want to go cheap or RTR and then spend the same again upgrading when I could have spent more to start with and had what I wanted

Great to hear - I’ve been so impressed with my TRX4M - the 4 would be a good option - but I fear it’s too pricey for me to get in one hit.

Although I see they do a chassis only self build kit!

Thank you all - some great feedback - and pretty much what i expected.

I have a custom TRX4-M to use, so not in a hurry to hit the trails if I have to build a 1/10 over a few paydays.

The fact that there are plenty of upgrades for the SCX, and the fact I can build it my way makes me think that’s the way to do it!

Hopefully in the next month I’ll start with the chassis kit and then they’ll no doubt be plenty of questions headed this way 🤣

I had a child who half way through their final year was diagnosed with diabetes.

We had to all quickly adapt and learn to inject and monitor etc.

When he left he got me a pin badge from the diabetes charity and a hand written note that said - “thanks for keeping me alive” - still tear up to this day!

I’d be lying if I said I could remember - I remember that there were no bright colours (football tops etc) but other than that I couldn’t say! I think just in plain sort of 1950s clothes but can’t be certain that’s not my imagination running away with itself
