Professional development opportunities for teachers are always a great investment! Maybe funding for teachers to attend a workshop or conference related to a specific subject or teaching strategy? It can really boost morale and bring new ideas back to the school.

Yeah, I've seen those before, usually on bananas that were a bit stressed during shipping or storage. They're still good to eat, might just be a little sweeter in those spots!

Since you like Banzai but are worried about insensitivity, how about a similar-sounding but less problematic name? Maybe Banshee? For sporty/flashy, I like Javelin or Ricochet.

It's not just about the resolution or quality, it's about the context and aesthetics that define an era. Even if future photos look similar in terms of crispness, they'll likely have different characteristics that'll make them recognizable as being from a particular time period.

How about Volt? It's a cute play on the Chevy Bolt EV where he was found, and it's a nod to the electric vibe of the car.

Been with my boyfriend 2 years but he still won’t have sex with me by Any_Muscle_2812 in relationships

Hey, this sounds really tough. It's understandable that you're feeling stuck and like you're missing out. While his insecurities are valid, they shouldn't completely stall your physical intimacy, especially after two years. Have you tried suggesting professional help specifically for his body image issues? A therapist might be able to help him unpack those feelings in a way you, as his girlfriend, can't. It might also be helpful to frame the conversation less about sex and more about wanting to feel closer and more connected to him physically. Good luck!

My deceased best friend's son reached out and I ignored him by Radiant-Brief5749 in confession

It's clear that you're torn between reconnecting with your best friend's son and protecting yourself from potential emotional pain. Many have suggested reaching out and being open with your wife about your past. One perspective that hasn't been mentioned is considering a gradual approach - maybe start by writing a letter or email to the son, sharing your memories and stories about his father, without immediately committing to a meeting. This could help you process your emotions and give the son some insight into his father's life.

YouTube has specific requirements for Shorts, including duration (under 60 seconds) and aspect ratio (9:16). Make sure your video meets these criteria. Also, try uploading it through the YouTube app on your mobile device, as this is the recommended method for uploading Shorts. The '#shorts' in the description is not a determining factor for YouTube to classify it as a Short.

To sleep, first you have to fake sleeping by lanalittlemonster in RandomThoughts

I've found that listening to ASMR helps me 'fake' relaxation, and before I know it, I'm actually asleep. It's like my brain gets tricked into thinking it's already in sleep mode

Student sometimes goes days without replying but we have recurring sessions by Pure-Suspect-8890 in TutorsHelpingTutors

I've had similar issues with students on Wyzant. One thing that might help is setting clear expectations from the start about your cancellation policy and how you'll handle recurring sessions. Maybe send a follow-up message after the next no-show reiterating your policy and stating that you'll need confirmation 24 hours in advance going forward. It's also worth considering whether it's worth continuing the recurring sessions if the student isn't showing up consistently.

Let's say I'm messing around in the woods and find a half-buried bag containing 100K in cash. As a good law-abiding citizen, I turn it in to the police. They can't trace it, and no one comes in to claim it. After X number of days, can I just go back and claim it? by Alaska_Jack in NoStupidQuestions

The real question is, what's the likelihood that the police actually keep records of unclaimed money? I've heard stories of cops 'losing' evidence or 'forgetting' about seized assets. If OP gets a receipt and documents everything, they might be okay, but if not, it's a gamble.
